The Burtch's

As many of you know it is official! There is a new Burtch Family in this world. David and I got married on February 6th. It was a wonderful day. We had so much fun and are so grateful for all of those who came out to support us. And many thanks for all of those who helped to make our day extra special. We left the next day after Emmee's baptism to go on our cruise. We loved every minute of it. Here are some of the highlights.

This is our ship..... The Norwegian Pearl!

Us hanging out on the deck of the ship:)

The safety drill.

Our first stop was Roatan, Honduras! It was so beautiful there. Such pretty beaches and the jungle was awesome. This day we chose to go to a beach party! It was so fun to just lay in the sun and enjoy the beauty. I think I enjoyed it a little too much because David called me a lobster for the next couple of days.

This is Tabyana Beach where we spent the day!

Overlooking the jungle.

The next day was Belize. One of the reasons we picked this cruise was because it went to Belize. I have wanted to go there for sometime. Well, it was our least favorite island. We didn't go to any beaches or tours we just went downtown. It was kinda scary. It was very run down and people are out haggling and pressuring you to buy things! If we go again we will definitely try an excursion.

The next day was Cozumel, Mexico. We went parasailing here. Before we got off the boat David started to feel sick.He was determined to go parasailing so we went. It was tons of fun! He is going to kill me for telling you this but his"sickness" didn't go away. Needless to say, he puked 400 feet up in the air! Thankfully he turned his head and all worked out. We spent the rest of our day in our cabin. He was sick all day and is still recovering!

Coming back in from a great flight:)

Next day we were at sea. And then on to the Great Stirrup Cay. We lounged in a hammock and soaked up the sun all day! And no more sunburn. We both are home with quite nice tans!

We are glad to be coming home after such a wonderful honeymoon! We look forward to our life ahead and a whole lot of happiness:)

  1. That sounds like an awesome honeymoon! Other than David being sick, of course. He doesn't look like he feels great in that picture!

Welcome home Mr. and Mrs. Burtch!

  4. Looks like you two had a great time! Getting sick on your honeymoon is no fun, though. I know from experience (those darn boats!).
